Project Detail

The work under this contract includes the engineering, design, procurement, and construction, for the establishment and satisfactory operation of seawater cooling supply and return lines expansion. The work includes:

  • Extension of 3,700 mm diameter Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic Pipe (FRP) seawater supply pipe from west Switchyard Building at the Madinat Yanbu Al Sinaiyah (MYAS) in the vicinity of the Power, Desalination and Seawater Cooling (PD&SC) Plant to Shareh Al-Mesfah.
  • 3,700mm diameter FRP seawater supply pipe from the intersection of Shareh Al-Malik Fahd and Shareh Al-Mesfah continuing southeasterly along Shareh Al-Malik up to Shareh Petroline, then northeasterly along Shareh Petroline with a 3,700mm diameter FRP seawater supply pipe to connect to existing 3,400 mm diameter seawater supply main at the intersection of Shareh Al-Malik Saud to Shareh Petroline.
  • 3,700 mm diameter FRP seawater return pipe and connect to existing 3,000 mm diameter seawater return pipe at the intersection of Shareh Al-Malik Saud and Shareh Petroline. Continue with a 3,700mm diameter FRP Seawater return pipe along Shareh Petroline to Shareh Al Malik Fahd and continue to the new seawater outfall as shown on the contract concept drawings.
  • 3,700mm diameter FRP seawater supply pipe in Shareh Al-Mesfah connecting the 3,700 mm diameter supply pipe in Shareh Al Malik Fahd to the existing 3,400 mm diameter supply pipe at Shareh Al-Malik Saud. Provide 2,400mm diameter stub out at Shareh Al-Mesfah to serve Samref Export Refinery
